Located on Level 2 next to Discount General, this modern parent room at Westfield Burwood offers a clean and comfortable space for families. While it covers all the essentials, the compact layout means the play area sits right next to the feeding rooms.

🅿️ Parking
Westfield Burwood offers 3 hours free parking for Westfield members and 2 hours for non-members. Disabled parking is available near shopping centre entrances at Burwood Road, Shaftesbury Road, and in the middle of each car park level, with complimentary parking for disability permit holders.
🤱 The Nursing Room Setup
The parent room features 2 private feeding rooms, each with a faux leather armchair a side table, and a curtain to keep your privacy. Unfortunately the space cannot fit a stroller, specially as the nursing room is adjoined to the toddler play-zone area.
There are also 2 spare chairs outside of the nursing room area.
🔁 Changing Area
2 stationary change tables with hand-wash and a sink in-between each change table for hand washing after nappy changes.
The stations provide great space for changing nappies efficiently.
🫧 Kitchen and Toilet
A microwave can be found right next to the changing area, in one counter, covering your basic needs for sterilising or heating up bottles/food. Electric outlets are available on both the left and right hand side of the room by the counters.
Bathroom facilities are included within the parent room for your convenience.
🛝Toddler Play Zone
The ocean-themed play area provides entertainment for older children. However, it’s on the smaller side and positioned directly next to the feeding rooms. This layout means the play area along with the TV, can create noise that filters into the feeding spaces.
💭 Final Thoughts
Westfield Burwood’s parent room delivers on thoughtful amenities and comfort with 2 private feeding rooms, extra chairs, and an adjoined play area. The main consideration is the compact layout where the play zone adjoins the feeding rooms, meaning you cannot bring your stroller inside the feeding room with you, and the potential to have a noisy feeding time if sharing the parent room with other carers during a busy day.
