Clemton Park Shopping Village in Campsie does provide a dedicated parents room, but while it has some helpful features like change tables, pram space, and even a gated toddler play zone, it misses the mark in design… especially for feeding mums who value privacy. Here’s a closer look at what you’ll find inside.

🅿️ Parking

Clemton Park Shopping Village provides free underground parking for up to 3 hours, giving families plenty of time to shop or grab a meal without worrying about meter stress.

🤱 The Nursing Room Setup

This Parents Room unfortunately falls short when it comes to feeding. It only offers one feeding chair, and it’s placed in an open area with no privacy. For mums who prefer a discreet feeding space, a nursing cover may give you an extra boost of comfort.

🔁 Changing Area

The room has two stationary change tables. There’s also space for pram parking, so you won’t have to juggle your stroller while attending to your baby. An outlet is available for charging right next to the hand dryer, which is handy if you need to top up a phone or use a bottle warmer.

🫧 Kitchen and Toilet

One downside is that there is no microwave in this Parents Room. Parents needing to warm bottles or food will need to plan ahead or look for alternatives in the centre’s cafés and eateries.

A parent and child toilet is located within the Parents Room, offering added convenience for families with toddlers.

🛝Toddler Play Zone

One of the highlights is the gated toddler play zone, giving older siblings a safe spot to keep busy while parents/carers tend to their baby.

💭 Final Thoughts

While the pram parking, charging outlet, change tables, and gated play zone are welcome features, the lack of thoughtful design shows in the limited feeding facilities. With only one open feeding chair, privacy is compromised and it doesn’t cater well to multiple families at once.

👉 This Parents Room works best for quick nappy changes or toddler play breaks, but isn’t the most comfortable option for longer feeding sessions.
