If you’ve ever found yourself at Macquarie Shopping Centre juggling shopping bags, a pram, and a hungry toddler, you’ll be glad to know their parent room ticks a lot of boxes. One of our lovely mums, @steh91, recently visited and shared her thoughts, complete with photos, so you know exactly what to expect before you go!

🅿️ Parking
This centre is well set up for families. There are around 5,000 parking spaces available, 3 hours free parking, with dedicated Parents with Prams spots on Levels 0 (White Express), 1 (Pink, near Kmart), and 2 (Blue, near KFC and the Ice Rink) .
If you’re after extra convenience, valet parking is available in the Green Level Car Park for just $15 per vehicle .
🤱 The Nursing Room Setup
You’ll find 2 private feeding cubicles, each with a curtain for privacy, a comfy nursing chair, side table for essentials, and soft, ample lighting.
The space is pretty generous and should fit a single stroller.

🔁 Changing Area
There are 4 changing bays with built-in nappy bins, paper towels, and two sinks conveniently located between them.

🫧 Kitchen and Toilet
A dedicated kitchenette means you’ve got access to a microwave, drinking water tap, hand sanitiser, sink, and a bin.
There’s also a combined parents & kids toilet available.

🛝Toddler Play Zone
There’s a gated small playground inside, complete with a table, tv and chairs.

💭 Final Thoughts
Macquarie Centre’s parents room ticks a lot of boxes. It’s spacious, and thoughtfully equipped including sweet extras like water and sanitiser.
Our only wish? A few more private feeding spaces to avoid waiting on busy days but otherwise, this is a solid spot to stop when you’re out with babies and toddlers.
