Tucked away inside Rhodes Central, this parents room offers a clean and quiet space for breastfeeding, nappy changes, and a quick break from the busyness of shopping. While it’s not the most cosy or stylish space, it does what it needs to do, and that’s often all a parent really needs. If you’re a breastfeeding mum or just need somewhere peaceful to change a nappy, this is a solid option.
Location & Access
You’ll find the parents room on Level 1 near Purple Flow X (Top floor of the building!). There’s currently some incorrect signage near the ground floor toilets, which can be confusing, so it’s best to head straight upstairs. While it’s a bit of a walk from the main entrance, access is very pram-friendly thanks to multiple elevators nearby. Once you know where it is, it’s simple to get to again.
Rhodes Central offers three hours of free parking, which gives you plenty of time to take care of feeding and changing without feeling rushed. There is easy access from the carpark via lifts, making it ideal for prams and baby carriers.

Facilities Available
This space is equipped with most essentials including four change tables, though they are quite firm so it’s a good idea to bring your own changing mat. There is a sink for washing up and nappy bins that are regularly emptied. Each feeding cubicle contains a single chair and enough room for a small stroller. There’s no microwave or bottle warmer, but there is a small screen area to entertain older kids. Overall, it’s functional and thoughtfully laid out, even if it lacks a bit of comfort.

Breastfeeding Friendliness
Breastfeeding mums will appreciate the privacy and quietness of the room. Each cubicle has enough space for one chair and a stroller, offering a calm setting for nursing. However, there are no power outlets and no side tables, which may make pumping or longer sessions more difficult. It’s not the cosiest option, but for a quick feed, it does the job without distractions.

Cleanliness
The room is well looked after and everything appeared clean and tidy during our visit. It feels safe and hygienic for parents and babies.

Final Thoughts
While it may not be the most luxurious parents room in Sydney, the Rhodes Central space is dependable, clean, and quiet. With a bit of a walk to reach it and a few missing features like a bottle warmer or power outlets, it still offers a calm and functional environment. If you are in the area and need a safe spot to care for your little one, this parents room is definitely worth visiting.
