The parent room at Birkenhead Point Shopping Centre has been given a complete makeover, and the day spa vibes are definitely noticeable. While without a toddler play zone, it packs in all the essentials you need for a comfortable pit stop during your shopping trip.

🅿️ Parking
Birkenhead Point Shopping Centre offers 3 hours free ticketless parking, with plenty of parking paces available. With multiple levels, you’re likely to find a spot even during busy periods!
🤱 The Nursing Room Setup
The feeding setup includes 2 private areas, each with their own armchair and partitioned by curtains for privacy. The chairs are comfortable enough for longer feeding sessions, however, the space is very minimal (as per usual!) and you will not be able to fit your stroller inside with you. Within each private feeding room, you can also find wooden activity toys for your little toddler/s to play with.
🔁 Changing Area
2 stationary change tables with a sink positioned in between them. This setup makes hand washing convenient after nappy changes, as the sink is centrally located between both changing stations.
🫧 Kitchen and Toilet
The separate kitchenette includes a microwave, sink, and generous counter space, perfect for your bottle heating and preparation needs. Multiple electricity outlets can also be found in this area so you can plug in any chargers or electronics if necessary.
The toilet facilities include both adult and child-sized toilets in the same cubicle, which works well for families. The extra shelf space inside the toilet is a great feature, however, the space itself is quite compact and won’t accommodate large or double prams, so you’ll need to leave these outside the cubicle.
🛝Toddler Play Zone
While there is no dedicated toddler play zones, there are multiple wooden activities installed on the walls, both inside the private feeding areas and outside, to keep your toddlers distracted.
💭 Final Thoughts
The parent room at Birkenhead Point has everything you need – private feeding spaces, changing tables, and a clean space altogether. Just be aware that the toilet area is tight for larger prams, and seating options are mainly within the feeding cubicles.
